One of the many advantages of AeroFarms™ systems is that they can grow anywhere.  The systems are modular, making them extremely flexible with respect to location and configuration.  The ideal space would be an urban building with high ceilings to maximize the growing per sq. ft. of floor space.  AeroFarms offers site evaluation services and would welcome the opportunity to discuss potential sites for our systems.  Our systems are for commercial use, designed for high volume production, and generally require several thousand square feet for self sustaining income.

It is very difficult to determine the time that is required to manage the farming business and production of this operation.  These are commercial systems, not a hobby, and so require full-time dedication from a farm manager.  A typical farm requires approximately 5 full time employees under one farm manager, but this will vary based on size and farm business model.

We encourage customers to develop a good relationship with their local horticultural extension professional, entrepreneurial forum, and vendors of fertilizer, packaging, and utilities.
