David Rosenberg

AeroFarms

David Rosenberg co-founded and leads AeroFarms, a clean-technology company that builds and operates advanced vertical farms in urban environments. Including his experience with AeroFarms, David has worked at four change-the-world, institutionally-backed start-ups/hyper-growth companies, with AeroFarms being the second one he has co-founded and leads.

David dedicates his time to a number of local and international organizations. As a member of the World Economic Forum, David co-chairs the Young Global Leaders Circular Economy Taskforce and is a member of the WEF Global IoT Council. David is also a member of the U.S. delegation to the B20 Sustainable Food System Taskforce, which advises the G20. In addition, David serves as a Managing Trustee of New Jersey’s Liberty Science Center – a prominent U.S. interactive science museum. David was also privileged to co-chair New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s Agriculture Transition Committee. In 2018, David was honored as Ernst & Young’s (NJ) Entrepreneur of the Year (Food and Beverage).

David received his BA from UNC Chapel Hill and holds an MBA from Columbia University. He competed for the U.S. in fencing where he was a finalist at a world cup and represented the NYAC, winning three U.S. National Team Fencing Championships and two individual silver medals.

Alastair Cooper

ADM Capital

Alastair Cooper is a Partner and Head of Early Stage Investments at ADM Capital, Cibus Fund. Alastair spent 18 years as an Investment Banker, 16 years of which were at Morgan Stanley, within the Equity Division, as a Managing Director based in London and Hong Kong. Upon leaving Morgan Stanley in 2002, Alastair studied farming at the Royal Agricultural University and has managed his own mixed organic farm since. As an active private investor, Alastair has made a number of investments within renewable energy and agriculture. Alastair is on the boards of Dream Holdings, Rootility and Enterra Feed and holds a BSc in Zoology from Exeter University, England.

Nikolaus Bormann

ACEG

Nikolaus serves as CEO of ACEG Beteiligungsgesellschaft where he invests in the field of agriculture and food supply chains, health care and med tech, education, clean tech and renewable energy. Prior to ACEG, Nikolaus founded his own ag-consulting business and developed a new approach for flexible energy production from renewable energies. Nikolaus started his career at an international consulting firm where he served clients in various industries e.g. in agriculture, energy, water supply and private equity. Nikolaus holds a master’s degree in agriculture and a second master’s degree in economics.

Stephan Dolezalek

Wheatsheaf Group

Stephan is a highly experienced entrepreneur, board member, counsel and investor across a range of technologies.  He has co-founded three companies, been a board member of numerous venture-backed private as well as publicly-traded companies and has personally led more than two dozen private equity investments.  He has built a strong investment track record in the software, biotechnology, clean energy and agricultural sectors, including building and managing an investment portfolio of over $1Bn.  Stephan is a graduate of the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia (BCP) and was a founding member of the School’s Foundation Board of Trustees. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law.
